全球央行犧牲存款人利益長期維持超低利率，希望以寬鬆資金作後盾加速景氣復甦。不過，德國財政部長Wolfgang Schaeuble 30日表示，這套運作模式已對長期投資造成傷害，利率將不可能遠處於低水平不調整。

德國從來不掩飾對低利率政策的批評，Schaeuble在接受德國畫報《Bild》採訪時指出，低利率政策的危害目前已初步顯現在金融市場貨幣供給趨緩，而德國公債殖利率則緩步上揚。

歐洲央行(ECB)目前的官方利率為史上最低的0.25%，德國一向質疑ECB有計畫利用低利率犧牲德國權益，來使歐元區其它國家可以受惠。

焦點再轉到希臘，據道瓊社報導，Schaeuble還表示，只要希臘經改符合債權人條件，德國明年中旬將考慮給予更多金援，但堅決反對對希臘進行債務減記。
